People have spent the last 2,000 years making the church that Jesus founded more and more complicated.
It doesn't have to be like that. In fact, with all the junk we've added to the church sometimes it's easy to miss the point.
Life is crazy enough as it is - being a part of a church shouldn't complicate it further. Iron City Church is about keeping things simple.
Everything we do at ICC fits into one of three general areas. Here's what we're about:
Our desire is to be "charged" with God's love. Our goal is charge each other to learn to "love like Jesus". Growth Groups and Sunday morning worship are opportunities for us to find and experience this charge. We are motivated to make these times of gathering to be electric, fun, and innovative - an experience you will enjoy and look forward to all week.
Our desire is God's, we want to help people to "live like Jesus." In this life we are all on a spiritual journey and you will be challenged in Growth Groups and Worship gatherings to take the next step in your journey, wherever you are today.
Jesus is in the business of changing people's lives for the better and as He changes your life, He wants to use you to help change other lives. Our desire is to "leave what Jesus left behind." When lives are changed by His message and power, then we effectively leave the very thing Jesus left behind for us to do.
